Aminu Ibrahim Safana was born on 22nd May 1971 and hails from Safana Local Government in Katsina State.
Holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and also a Masters Degree in International Law and Diplomacy (MALD). He is a Certified National Accountant and Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (FCNA).
Began working career with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in 2001, under the Legislative Strengthening Program for Nigeria (LSPN). Worked with the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) from 2002-2010. Served as Special Adviser to Katsina State Governor on Environment from 2010-2011. Served as a Member of the Katsina state Executive council and Commissioner for Environment and later Youths and Sports Development from 2011-2015.
From 2015-2017, ventured into private practice with VISDAV Consult, a chartered Accounting Firm based in Abuja, as Principal Partner, before Joining the National Judicial Council (NJC) in May 2017 as Assistant Director, Pension.
He has attended so many National and International conferences as well as local and foreign trainings and courses.
Safana is happily married with children and he enjoys farming.
