Ahmed Gambo Saleh was born 3^rd June, 1969 in Hadejia, Jigawa State. He holds his first and second degrees in Law from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto and Bayero University, Kano, respectively.

He had a two year stint in private practice before joining the Civil Service where he became a Senior State Counsel in the Ministry of Justice, Jigawa State between 1998 and 2008. He then moved to Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2008 where he was made the Special Assistant to the Chief Justice of Nigeria. Between 2010 and 2014 he was the Deputy Chief Registrar (Litigation Department). He was elevated to the position of Chief Registrar in 2014, until 2017 when he was appointed as the Secretary, National Judicial Council to date.

Ahmed Gambo Saleh, LL.B, BL, LLM has more than 20 years in Management and Administrative experience. He is a Member of several professional bodies and has served on quite a number of Judiciary Committees among which are Secretary, Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee; Chairman, Chief Registrars of Nigeria Forum; Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association, Dutse Branch; Member, Presidential Swearing-in Committee – 2015; Member, Judiciary Information Technology Policy Committee; Member, Federal Judiciary Tenders Board; Secretary, Jigawa State Sharia Implementation Committee, etc.

His hobbies are Sports, Tourism and Community Service.

Hadiza Santali Sa’eed was born on the 18th May 1976 in Jos, Plateau State. She hails from Karshi Development Area, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Abuja, FCT.

She attended St. Margaret’s Primary School in Liverpool and Hillcrest School in Jos before proceeding to Federal Government Girls College, Bauchi Where she obtained her West African School Certificate in 1993. She went on to study Law at the University of Jos, Plateau State between 1993 and 2000 where she received an LL.B (Hons.) Degree and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002.

She went back to the University of Jos, Plateau State in 2004 and obtained an LL.M (Hons.) in 2008. She also holds a Master Degree in International Law, Security and Terrorism (Distinction) from the University of Nottingham UK. received in 2014

She previously served as a Solicitor and Advocate in Omotsola and Co., Jos (2002), Legal Officer at the National Judicial Council in (2002-2003) (NYSC), Training Coordinator, National Center for State Courts, a USAID Funded Nigerian Rule of Law Assistance Project (2003-2004), Senior Program Coordinator, National Center for State Courts, USAID Funded Nigerian Rules of Law Assistance Project (2004-2005).

She then resumed as an Assistant Studies Fellow, National Judicial Institute, Abuja (2005-2010), Studies Fellow, National Judicial Institute, Abuja (2010-2011), Special Assistant to the Hon. Chief Justice of Nigeria, Abuja (on Secondment) (2011-2012), Senior Special Assistant to the Hon. Chief Justice of Nigeria (on Secondment) (2014-2016), and rose to the Position of Senior Studies Fellow (Asst. Director), National Judicial Institute, Abuja (2012-2017).

She is a Member of the Federation of African Women Lawyers as well as a full Member of the Institute of Fraud Examiners. She has written several published and unpublished papers in the areas of Judicial Ethics, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Internet Law, Maritime Law, Gender Issues, Environmental Law, as well as Court and Case Management. Mrs Sa’eed was also a contributor to the Judicial Ethics Training Manual and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Manual for the Nigerian Judiciary, by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, 2007, and the Commentary of the Bangalore Principles in 2007. She also participated in the drafting of the Nigerian Code of Conduct for Court Employees which came into effect in March 2003.

She is currently the Director, Judges Performance and Evaluation/Legal Department at the National Judicial Council Abuja. She is the Secretary of the Committee on Performance Evaluation of Judicial Officers of Superior Courts of Record, Chairman of the E-service Committee of the Council and Alteration Secretary of the Judicial Information Technology Policy Committee(JITPCO).

Mr. Aminu M. Basahari was born on 1^st July, 1974 and he is from Ringim, Jigawa State.

His educational journey started at Tunwase Nursery & Primary School in Lagos. He proceeded to Kings College, Lagos for his Secondary Education and then to Ahmadu Bello Univeristy (A.B.U) Zaria, from where he obtained a BSc and a Master in Business Administration in 2001.

He was certified in Management and Administrative Skills by the Centre for Management Development in 2004 and commenced a PhD at the American University, London in the year 2006 but later deferred to represent Edward Thompson, U.K as the Country Representative in Nigeria.

Mr. Bashari started his career as a Banker with the United Bank for Africa (UBA plc.) from where he moved to join the public service with the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) from the year 1999 to the year 2006.

He joined the National Judicial Council (NJC) in May, 2017 as a Deputy Director and is currently the Head of the Budget, Planning, Research & Statistics Department of the Council.

Mrs. Bintur-Shik Florence graduated from the Ibadan Polytechnic, in 1991. She holds a Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Administration from the same Institution. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the Nasarawa State University.

She worked for 3 years with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Kaduna Refinery as a contract staff from 1991-1994 and later joined Kaduna Textiles Limited, where she worked as a Confidential Secretary to the General Manager from February 1994 to 2002.

In July 2002, she joined the National Judicial Council as a Principal Confidential Secretary, GL 12 and over the years. She rose from the post of a Principal Confidential Secretary to Deputy Director, (Admin.) Secretariat, She is presently the Head of the Secretariat Department of the Council.

Mr. Aminu Ibrahim Safana, fdc, was born on 22nd May, 1971, and hails from Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State. Mr. Safana began his academic journey at Yusuf Dantsoho Primary School in Kaduna and later attended Government Secondary School, Funtua. He proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he obtained a Diploma in Banking. He further obtained a National Diploma and a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa.

In pursuit of professional excellence, he acquired a Professional Certificate in Accountancy from the Nigerian College of Accountancy, Jos. He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management and a Master of Business Administration from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. He further obtained a Master of Arts in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Jos, and a Master of Science in Security and Strategic Studies from the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna. He attended Course 32 of the National Defence College, Nigeria, where he earned the fellowship award of the Defence College.

His career commenced as a Legislative Attache' with the United States Agency for International Development, USAID, in 2001, and later joined the Federal Capital Territory Administration in 2002. He also served the Katsina State Government in various capacities, including Special Adviser to the Governor on Environment, Honourable Commissioner for Environment, and Honourable Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development.

Mr. Safana joined the National Judicial Council as an Assistant Director and has risen steadily through the ranks to his present position as Director, Pension Department.

Mr. Safana is a Fellow of the National Defence College, fdc, Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, FCNA,  and a Fellow of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria, FCPI.

Mr. Aminu Ibrahim Safana is happily married to Zahra Yazid and Maryam Abdulsalam, and the marriage is blessed with eight children.

Mr. Ibiang Usani Obono was born on the 16th of February, 1968 to the family of Chief Usani Obono and Late Madam Atim Usani Obono in Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State. He attended St. Mary’s Primary School Ugep, between 1974 and 1980; Community Secondary School Ugep, 1981 to 1986 and Secondary School Idomi in the 1986/87 Session.
Mr. Obono commenced his tertiary education at the School of Nursing, and later the School of Psychiatric Nursing, both in Calabar, Cross River State. He accordingly qualified and became a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria in 1991 and 1995 respectively. With poise for higher educational attainment, Mr. Ibiang Obono also attended the University of Calabar, Cross River state and the University of Jos, Plateau State, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) respectively.
As a young man with proficiency in dual professional inclination, Mr. Obono worked as a Nurse in the Eja memorial Joint Hospital Itigidi, Abi Local Government Area and the former Infectious Disease Hospital, Calabar where he demonstrated uncommon professional zeal and competence in modern clinical Nursing Care. On the other hand, Mr. Obono is a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and Fellow of the Chartered Economist of Nigeria. He worked as an Accountant in the Federal Judicial Service Commission, Abuja where he rose to the position of a Chief Accountant before his employment with the National Judicial Council (NJC) in May, 2017 as an Assistant Director, Finance and Accounts. Mr. Obono is also a Career Procurement Officer. He headed of the Procurement Department of the Council from August, 2017 to March, 2021. Mr. Obono is currently a Deputy Director and Head of the Finance and Accounts Department of the National Judicial Council, Abuja.
His hubbies are reading, football and farming. Mr. Obono is married with four children.

Adebayo Lateef Ariwoola was born on the 26^th October, 1966 in Iseyin, Oyo State of Nigeria. He started his primary school education at New City Primary School, Palm Avenue, Lagos.

He holds his first degree in Accounting (B. Sc.) from the University of Ilorin and a Masters Degree (MBA) in Business Administration (Finance) from the same University (University of Ilorin) in 2011.

He started his accounting career with the Civil Service of Oyo State in 2000 as an Accountant II in the pool of the Office of the State Accountant General. He has worked in several ministries and Agencies at various capacities:

• Ministry of Finance.
• State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board (Muslim Wing).
• Teaching Service Commission.
• State Ministry of Works.
• Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology.
• Office of the State Accountant General.

Until he transferred his service to the Federal Civil Service in 2012.

At the Federal Civil Service, he worked with Federal Ministry of Health, Final Accounts Unit and later at Other Charges Unit.

Adebayo Lateef Ariwoola, once worked as Head of Accounts & Finance, National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Programme between 2014 and 2019, Port Health Department at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. Also at Federal Staff Dental Clinic, Abuja.

He left for Federal Judicial Service Commission where he worked briefly as Deputy Director Finance & Account, National Industrial Court before transferring his service to the National Judicial Council.

He belongs to so many professional organizations both locally and internationally, and attended many workshops within and outside Nigeria. 

His hobbies include sports and traveling.

Mr. EREWA, Oritsemaje Emmanuel, was born on 27^th October, 1968 in Warri to  Ogidigben, Escravos in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.

He attended Association Primary School, Sapele, Delta State (1973-1979), Baptist High School, Ijagbo, Kwara State (1979-1984) and graduated from Auchi Polytechnic (now Edo State Polytecnic) Auchi, Edo State in 1991.

He is a Member of the Project Management Institute (MPMI) 1998, an Associates Member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (ANIQS) 2000 and a Registered Member of the Quantity Surveyors Registration Council of Nigeria (RQS) 2010

He previously worked with Murty Associates: Quantity Surveyors and Project Management Consultants, Ilorin Kwara State (1992-1998) as Quantity Surveyor, Aluminum Technology Products Plc (ALTEC), (NAL Towers), Marina Lagos in 1998-2006, as Commercial Manager/Estimator and worked with EFA Associates: Quantity Surveyors and Project Management Consultants, Opebi, Lagos (2007-2010) Senior Partner.

Until his employment with the National Judicial Council in December, 2017, he was the Principal and Managing Partner of Rewaf-One Consults, a firm of Quantity Surveyors and Project Management Consultants, located in Agege, Lagos.

He has taken part in many professional seminars and courses. He has over 25 years cognate experience in Quantity Surveying, Project Management and general contacting.

Babalola (Babs) Ogedengbe Kemi Bolade is a seasoned Journalist and a Legal Practitioner. She was born at Iseyin in Iseyin Local Government Area Council, Oyo North, Oyo State. She attended Baptist Primary School at Iseyin and got her First School Leaving Certificate in (1981) before proceeding to Community High School, Elewura Challenge, Ibadan, where she obtained her West African School Certificate in 1986. She also went to Times Journalism Institute (TJI) where she got Diploma in Journalism in 1989. She then attended Lagos State University (LASU) where she obtained Diploma in Law in 1992, She further proceeded to study Law still at the Lagos State University (LASU), where she received an LL. B (Hons.) Degree in 1998 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2001. She also holds a Master in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice (MLC) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. She had worked with the Daily Times Nigeria PLC on various beats and elevated as Judicial/Legal Editor; she resigned from the organisation in 2000, to join Media Trust Newspaper, Abuja, where she was appointed as Judiciary Editor for the organisation. In 2005, she joined the FCT Judiciary as a Legal Officer where she rose to the position of Head of Legal Unit before her transfer of service to the NJC. She won High Court of the FCT Certificate of Merit Award. She is currently the Deputy Director, Information Department of the National Judicial Council.

Mrs. Hadiza Abdullahi Ma’aji was born on 20 August 1978 in Kontagora Local Government

Area of Niger State. She attended the Federal Capital Territory Primary School, Jabi, Abuja and

the Federal Government Girls College, Bakori, Katsina State. She holds a Bachelor’s degree

from the University of Abuja and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Coventry

University, United Kingdom.

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management, an Associate

Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), a Member of

the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and the Institute of Chartered Mediators and

Conciliators (ICMC).

Mrs. Ma’aji is an accomplished Public Sector Administrator and Human Capital Strategist with

over two decades of experience in Public Administration, Institutional Governance and

Organizational Leadership within Nigeria’s Judicial Sector. She currently serves as Deputy

Director and Head of Administration at the National Judicial Council (NJC), where she provides

strategic leadership for the Council’s administrative functions, strengthens workforce

management system and drives operational excellence in support of the Council’s mandate.

Before joining the NJC in October, 2023, she served at the National Industrial Court of Nigeria,

where she rose to the position of Assistant Director, Administration. During her tenure, she

contributed significantly to improving administrative coordination, institutional processes and

service delivery.

Recognized for her strategic leadership, sound judgment and commitment to institutional

excellence, Mrs. Ma’aji has consistently championed administrative efficiency, organizational

development and best practices in judicial administration in Nigeria. She is married and blessed

with four children.

Dr. Bansi Alhamdu was born on 2nd February,1983 in Adamawa State and attended Command Children’s School Yola. He later enrolled at Federal Government College Jos where he obtained his O’level.

He proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 2000 where he studied Medicine and Surgery,and graduated with MBBS degree in 2009.

In 2009, he was employed by the National Hospital Abuja for the one year compulsory Housemanship training which lasted till October 2010. He had his one year Youth Service with the Supreme Court Clinic after which he was retained and worked for another one year with the Supreme Court.

He joined the service of the National Judicial Council  Clinic in 2012 and he is currently the Head of the National Judicial Council Clinic.

He has attended various seminars, conferences and trainings both within and outside the country.

Ayodeji  Ayoyinka  Owodolu,CNA ,was born on the 16^th of June,1976 in Lagos State. He had his primary and Secondary education from 1988 to 1996, he graduated from University of Abuja where he bagged a B.sc ( Hons) in Accounting in 2008.

He qualified as a certified National Accountant in 2011 with the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria(ANAN). He was certified as a public Procurement Professional in 2019.

He is also a member of the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada.

He joined the Council in 2003, and since then worked in different capacities in Finance and Accounts Department before his posting to the Procurement Department in 2010 where he currently Heads.
